Aimee [URL]: hey Ally, I'll email you, ok? but I wouldnt recommend how I did the hoopskirt. I'd say go with a pattern. There are some patterns for period hoops if you look around a bit. we did it the hard way and it SUCKED.

Aimee [URL]: actually... hoops are flexible, they won't smack you in the face. but you can always just make a full petticoat. it won't go out as far as hoops though.
